My name is Nicola, and I am the sole proprietor of Island Photography.

I am a self-taught lifestyle, wedding and elopement photographer and videographer, based in the Orkney Islands, Scotland. My style is very natural, not overly posed, and I prefer to just see where the time takes us. 

 

I am Mum to Hamish (8) and he is my No.1 cheerleader and supporter. We have a 6 year old Beagle called Bella, and as a family, love to go out on adventures. 

We live in Kirkwall, and I work Mon-Fri as a Support for Learning Assistant at a local school. I previously worked for an Estate Agent as their In-House Property Photographer, and gained a lot of experience and confidence during this time.
